FASTRON is expanding its pin-type coil portfolio with the addition of a new inductor, 07HCPLP and 07HCPLP/T. This series of drum core chokes is available with or without a tube.
The structure of the inductor is similar to the millions of 07HCP chokes sold by FASTRON, but in contrast to the new series, the 07HCPLP (/T) has a lower core height of 8mm. To ensure right-angle alignment, the low-profile chokes also use a ferrite core with stands that are wound with enameled copper wire. The new 07HCPLP (/T) is available with inductance values from 1.5μH to 15000μH. The operational temperature of the chokes is -55°C to 150°C. The temperature will range from -55°C to 125°C for the tube version, which includes the inductor’s self-heating.
The chokes are available in either a loose package (option -50) or tape & reel (option -51) in quantities of 500 pieces each.
The 07HCPLP(/T) is certified according to AEC-Q200 and is RoHS compliant. Both inductors are suitable for lead-free soldering.
Applications for the 07HCPLP (/T) are in many areas, such as household appliances as well as in the industrial, automation, automotive, and lighting sectors.
